I’m so grateful for this “world of wonders” that we live in, and that in so many ways, creation whispers the truth to us about God’s redemption and beauty.

I have taken refuge in the love of God over and over again. I suppose you could say I’ve worn out the path to God’s door…

This world can feel so heavy some days. Whether it’s the news channel telling countless tragic stories, or our own lives that are so often full of struggle, conflict, loss, doubt, loneliness, and desire unfulfilled, life can feel overwhelming.

Friend, there is no room for shame in the gospel, and having lived under the weight of shame for so many years of my life, I’m so grateful for the freedom that comes with being both known and loved. In fact, as I continue to own the brokenness in my life more and more, the power of God’s love for me becomes more and more beautiful.

Have you ever had trouble getting to sleep? (Insert a picture of me waving my hand wildly!) Sometimes it’s because I drank caffeine too late in the day. Other times, it’s because I am an extrovert completely energized by time with people, and if I’m around a lot of people before bed, it takes hours to wind down and be able to sleep/rest/chill.

Perfect peace. Doesn’t that sound like an incredible promise? In light of so much conflict and pain in this world, it almost sounds impossible, but God promises that He will keep us in “perfect peace” when our minds are steadfastly placing our trust in Him.

“You are with me." This has been a refrain I come back to over and over again in my life. When I make mistakes…”You are with me." When I feel lost…”You are with me." When I am overwhelmed by sorrow…”You are with me." When death steals and depression dulls… “You are with me."
