Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise.

On the days I forget what’s true, a verse like this is such a gift to me. It reminds me of who God is and what God says He will do, AND it helps my forgetful and often doubting heart really hold onto those promises. I know the outcomes here on a broken planet don’t always turn out like I’d like them to, but this verse points me to the one day healing that will come and to the current truth of God’s love that has rescued us from death and brought us into the kingdom of light and life. God, help me believe healing is coming one day for all of us, even on the days it’s hard to see.
