I don’t know the cares and burdens your heart carries right now, but I pray this verse reminds us that we do not ever carry them alone. We can find rest and refuge in the steadfast Love of God. Take comfort, for you are held even here as your heart breaks, even here in the exhaustion, even here in the sickness, in the stress, in the longing. In the dark night of the soul, the light of Christ is ever ready to bring consolation and comfort. I pray you sense that today, and may you feel great relief as you carry all the cares of your heart to the One who can hold it all.
