I’m so grateful that we do not have to be stuck in our brokenness, in our sin, in our shame, in our selfishness… because of Jesus, we get to step away from all of that and into His grace and mercy. We no longer have to be defined by our failures and mistakes, but by the extravagant love God demonstrated for us on the cross…

A few years ago, I was invited to be a part of a conference in Dallas, TX called the There4 Gathering. It is a conference focused on pouring the truth of God’s love into middle, high school, and college girls. I was SO excited for this opportunity because even though not many people knew it at the time, I struggled a lot when I was younger, and I love getting to speak to younger girls what I wish someone had spoken over me!

I cannot tell you the amount of times I’ve worried about something, let a conflict or decision circle around and around in my head, asked everyone and their mother what they thought that I should do about it... searching for wisdom from the people I trust. I’m not saying that’s wrong, but when I read this promise from God’s word, I was undone…
